MANDARINGO

How MandarinGo’s public learning materials are made

Public questions and dialogue scripts are created for MandarinGo. They may be AI-assisted and are not presented as official exam items or as individually approved by a named teacher. We distinguish fixed answer keys, model-generated suggestions and external official sources so learners can judge each one appropriately.

Question and explanation requirements

A closed question should have one defensible answer under its stated context. An explanation should identify the relevant wording or grammatical pattern and show why alternatives change the meaning, break the pattern or add unsupported information. Open writing and speaking tasks can have several good answers; their examples are reference answers, not exhaustive answer keys.

Multilingual explanations and Chinese examples

Chinese is the language being practised. Public web explanations are available in the site’s eight interface languages. Translations should preserve times, quantities, negation and uncertainty. They may be AI-assisted; no native-speaker or named-teacher review is claimed. If versions disagree, report the page and question for review.

Synthetic audio and AI suggestions

Audio labelled synthesized Mandarin is generated from our scripts with text-to-speech. It is not a recording of a human conversation. One synthetic voice may read multiple roles; the transcript identifies the turns. Listening choices test comprehension, while shadowing prompts support practice without claiming to measure pronunciation.

The live sentence checker produces suggestions on demand. Its output passes a structure check, which cannot guarantee linguistic accuracy. Keep your intended meaning in view, especially with names, dates, quantities and uncertain plans. Do not submit sensitive personal information.

Sources, updates and error reports

Exam dates and version claims should link to the official exam service. Page dates indicate a substantive content update, not a promise of continuous live verification. We preserve question anchors where possible and update mistakes with a new build. To report an issue, send the URL, question number and explanation to support@mandaringo.ai.
